Hello families!
We had a busy and fun week.
In language Arts, we learned about Winter and Arctic animals. We did predictable chart writing, listened to stories, watched videos and did related sensory and art activities.
In Math, we started to learn the concept of time. Students enjoyed exploring different kinds of clocks, and play "What time is it Mr.Wolf"
In science, we explored magnetism through cool experiments.
In cooking, after the "blue" week and dealing with such cold weather, we made hot chocolate and polar bear cookies. It was a huge hit with our students.
We are so thrilled to have a new music teacher Ms. Darr. Our students enjoyed every moment in the music class!
With the cold weather, so many of our students are experiencing dry and cracked skin and lips. So, if your child suffers from dry skin during the harsh winter months, you may send a hand cream or lip balm in their backpacks for their personal use.
