Hello Parents,
We had a
wonderful week back after the 5-day break due to the teachers' convention and
Family Day! It was a short week, but we packed it with lots of exciting
activities and valuable lessons.
In
Language Arts, we focused on kindness and how small actions can have a big
impact on others. We read the heartwarming book "Have You Filled a
Bucket Today?" by Carol McCloud, which teaches us about kindness and
how our actions can "fill" or "dip" others' invisible
buckets. It was a great conversation starter for the students to reflect on
their actions and how they can spread kindness each day.
In Math,
we continued learning about weights. The students enjoyed hands-on activities
to understand the concepts of "light" and "heavy." Using
everyday objects, they worked together to compare and measure weights, helping
them visualize these concepts in a fun and engaging way.
The gym is
always fun, and our students had a great time participating and learning new
skills.
