Hello
Parents,
Spring is
a season full of colour, curiosity, and new beginnings — and it’s the perfect
time to mix outdoor fun with indoor learning! Whether we are out on a nature
walk or bringing the wonders of spring into our classrooms, everyday moments
can turn into powerful learning opportunities. We talked about spring's changes
— blooming flowers, buzzing bugs, and warmer air. We let children lead with
their curiosity!
We
continued learning about addition and skip counting in Math by counting flower
petals, birds, or steps and comparing stick lengths or leaf sizes.
In cooking, we created 'bread flowers' with toasted bread slices and cookie cutters.
In
Language Arts, we let Nature spark conversations and build vocabulary. We practiced early literacy outdoors and brought those experiences inside for
deeper learning.
