 Good afternoon, EES families!

We have had a wonderful start to the school year!  

Each class has been working on building our classroom communities through learning about each other and ourselves.  The focus over the last week has been on a book called "All About Me" to help the students think about things such as what they like to eat, what they look like, and their favourite colour.

The students have really enjoyed exploring the new sensory room, and have had daily opportunities to use this space to help them feel calm and ready to learn.  The light, sound and touch features of the room have been so fun to try out, and the students have all shown that they like to spend time in this new place.

The students have had a great time moving their bodies in the gym, and experimenting with instruments in the music room.  Everyone is starting to get comfortable in the daily routines, and have shown that they are ready to do a lot of learning this year.
