Hello Families!

Although it has been a short week at school, it has also been a busy one!

Our students have been using the theme of kindness and emotions to guide their learning in language arts, and it has helped them to practice identifying how they and others are feeling.  Math lessons have focused on measurement, alongside counting and number sequencing.  Science lessons have given students the opportunity to explore how sound is made, loud and quiet sounds, and to practice identifying mystery sounds. 

Art lessons have led students to create some very beautiful pieces for Valentine's Day, check out some pictures below!

We would like to invite parents to submit photos of their child for the yearbook by emailing them to yearbook@mtsparents.com. Submissions can include pictures from the first day of school, Halloween Dance, Orange Shirt Day, Festive Sweater Day etc.

Fun Lunch

Our next Fun Lunch will be next Wednesday February 21.

Fun Lunch is only for grades 1-4 and our EES students. Orders are accepted 1 week prior to the day.

• Log into you existing account or create a new one.
• Add your child’s information in the “add child” box – name, province, city, school, grade and class.
• All Fun Lunches will then populate – select the order now button!

Please make sure to send a morning snack with your child on Fun Lunch Days.

Just a reminder, the school will be closed tomorrow and Friday due to Teacher's Convention. We are also closed on Monday for Family Day.
