 Dear Families,

Spring has finally sprung!  The students have been able to enjoy some outdoor fun and learning over the last couple of days, as the weather is finally warm enough to enjoy.  We got to play, blow bubbles, play basketball and investigate pinecones, which was a lot of fun!

We took a bit of a break from our current learning theme this week, and focused more on celebrating Mother's Day.  The students did writing, art, and thinking about the people in their lives that look after them and take care of them at home.  In math, students continued to work on counting and number sequencing, as well as using symmetry to make some cool designs.  The science learning this week wrapped up our learning on plants, and the students got to plant the mint that we grew in their beautiful hand painted pots.  We hope everyone enjoyed their lovely Mother's Day gifts, the students had a lot of fun creating them!

As the weather continues to warm up, please ensure that your child has a water bottle and light layers (long sleeves, t-shirts, shorts) to help keep them cool and comfortable.
