Hello
Parents,
This week,
we have been busy exploring all the wonderful things this season brings! The
classroom has been buzzing—quite literally—with excitement as we dive into our
Spring learning theme.
We’ve been talking about everything “springly,” from blooming flowers to buzzing bees. One of the highlights of our week was a visit from a real beekeeper! The students were absolutely fascinated as they learned all about honey bees, their roles in nature, and how honey is made. The best part? We got to taste-test different types of honey! It was a delicious way to connect our learning with a real-life experience.
In
addition to our Spring theme, we have been working hard on our number skills
using a variety of manipulatives. It’s been wonderful to see the students so
engaged as they build their understanding of numbers in a hands-on way.
To add to
the seasonal fun, we also created adorable egg nests as a Spring craft, which
the students loved making (and we’re sure you’ll love seeing them!).
And, of
course, with the weather warming up and the sun shining brightly, we’ve taken
our learning outdoors with a community walk. It was a great chance to observe
signs of Spring in our neighborhood while enjoying some fresh air and sunshine.
Next week, all PE classes will be held outside as our gymnasium is getting a fresh coat of paint. Please ensure your child comes to school dressed appropriately for the weather, including proper footwear for outdoor activity. We'll continue with fun, active lessons—rain or shine!
We are so
proud of all the learning and growing happening every day. Thank you for your
continued support and for being a part of our classroom community!
