Hello EES Families,
This week, in extension of our Earth Day learning,
students continued exploring the importance of the 3 Rs – Reduce, Reuse, and
Recycle. We discussed simple ways we can help keep our surroundings clean and
care for our environment. Through meaningful conversations and activities,
students learned how even small actions can make a big difference in protecting
our planet.
We also had an exciting time learning about bees!
Students completed worksheets, participated in interactive games, and
discovered the amazing process of how bees make honey. It was wonderful to see
their curiosity grow as they learned about the important role bees play in
nature.
In Math, we wrapped up our unit on weight. Students
took part in hands-on activities that helped them explore and understand
concepts of heavy and light, compare weights, and use practical experiences to
strengthen their learning.
During Adaptive Skills, we focused on oral hygiene.
Students learned about the importance of taking care of their teeth and
practiced the proper steps for brushing their teeth effectively. This was a
valuable life skill lesson that students enjoyed participating in.
We also spent time being creative through art and
craft activities. It was wonderful to see students painting, creating, and
expressing themselves while having fun. Their enthusiasm and creativity truly
brightened our classroom!
Overall, it was a week full of learning, exploration,
and joyful experiences.

The next Fun Lunch will be held on Wednesday, May 27.
Fun Lunch is only for grades 1-4 and our EES
students.
